Cinnamon Apple Cider Oats with Caramelized Cinnamon Apple Slices

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • cup soy milk
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cardamon
  • ½ tsp salt

Caramelized apple slices

  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  • Start by combining the oats and the apple cider in a pot (I don’t put it over heat yet). Let that sit for about 10 minutes, until the apple cider has been absorbed. Now add the milk and spices then put it on medium low heat, stir everything well and let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring often until nice and fluffy. (You can make the caramelized apple one it Cooks).
  • To make the caramelized apple slices, cut your apple into thin slices then toss them in the coconut oil and cinnamon. Heat the pan over medium low heat and add the apple slices and maple syrup. Make sure the maple syrup is coating all of the apples and flip them once the bottom becomes golden, flip again and top your oatmeal!
