My current fave pre-workout workout / post-workout / no workout snack!
These raw brownie balls have just FOUR ingredients. If you’re anything like me, you already have dates, almonds, almond flour and cocoa powder in your pantry, so what are you waiting for?!
They’re naturally sweet, a little chewy and so delish. Not to mention they are incredibly nourishing. I always keep a batch in the fridge for a quick snack or I pack them up for road trips. They make such a great alternative when you’re traveling & get stuck somewhere with a bunch of processed junk!
Serves: 10-15 balls
- 1 cup packed pitted dates
- 1 cup almonds
- 1¼ cup almond flour
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- Process the dates in the food processor until they've been combined, then transfer to a bowl and set aside.
- Pulse the almond in the food processor until broken up into small bits, add the almond flour and cocoa, then pulse until combined. Add the dates back in and pulse again until combined.
- Using an ice cream scooper, scoop out the mixture & form balls! Store in the refrigerator
