Homemade Almond Milk

Make your own almond milk! It tastes better, it’s cheaper & it’s so easy to make. I kept this batch plain, but I have also added in cocoa powder & dates for a chocolate milk, or vanilla bean and coconut sugar for vanilla milk.
For cheaper almonds, make sure you buy them in bulk!

Homemade Almond Milk

Serves: 5 cups

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of almonds
  • 5 cups of water
Instructions
  1. Add almonds and water to a high speed blender (I use the Vitamix Professional Series 750) & blend for 3 minutes.
  2. Pour the mixture into a large bowl covered with a cheese cloth (or a super thin dish towel) to drain the excess pulp. Squeeze the last bits of milk out through the cheese cloth.
  3. Refrigerate and consume within 10 days.
