Cold brew at coffee shops costs $$$ since it’s super inconvenient to make in big batches. Making it at home, however, is easy peasy lemon squeezy. Making cold brew is also super convenient for those who are rushed in the morning… make it the night before & just pour a glass in the AM.
I personally like how cold brew tastes when it made in small batches- when you keep a closer eye on it, there’s less of a chance that it’ll have a sour after taste.
Serves: 4 cups
- ½ cup coffee grounds
- 4 cups water
- Milk (optional)
- In a large pitcher, mix the coffee ground & water. Stir thoroughly.
- Let sit for 6-24 hours
- Drain coffee grounds & serve.
