If you like apple pie & you like toast, then you’re going to want to make this.
Cinnamon apples & almond butter toast seriously hits the spot. Spiced apples & nut butter are basically made for each other.
- ½ apple
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp date nectar or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 slides of toasted bread
- Pinch of coconut flakes
- Pinch of bee pollen
- Cut the apple into thin slices. Heat the coconut oil in a pan over medium low heat. Add the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon, flip them and sprinkle the rest. Let cook for about a minute, then drizzle the date nectar over the apples. Shuffle the apples around so that the cinnamon and date nectar coats all of the apple slices. Once the apples start to look golden, remove from heat.
- Spread the almond butter on each slice of toast, then top with the warm apples, coconut and bee pollen!
