Chocolate for breakfast? Duh.
No better way to start off a day than with a bowl of chocolate chia overnight oats.
I’m pretty much always in the mood for oatmeal, but I especially crave it after a sweaty workout, so this reeeeeally hits the spot after a run or a spin class.
- ¾ cup rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp pure vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1¼ cup of nut milk
- ½ cup greek yogurt (sub coconut or almond yogurt, if vegan)
- sliced almonds
- cocoa nibs
- nut butter
- bee pollen
- add the oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, vanilla bean paste, flax seeds and 1 cup of the nut milk to a mason jar, shake it up really well & refrigerate.
- In the morning stir in the yogurt & about another ¼ cup of nut milk, then transfer to a bowl & top with raspberries, sliced almonds, hazelnuts, cocoa nibs, nut butter & bee pollen
