Banana Chai Porridge

Porridge warms my heart!

This bowl of Banana Chai Porridge was like a big warm hug this morning. Spices like cardamom, cinnamon & ginger make for a perfectly cozy fall bowl!

Banana Chai Porridge

Serves: 1

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup water
  • ¾ cupΒ chai cashew milk
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • pinch of back pepper
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ mashed banana
  • ½ banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds
  1. Add the rolled oats and water to a pan. Let sit (not over heat) for 15-20 minutes
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and put over low heat. Cook slowly, stirring often. Remove from heat once thick.
  3. Top with the other banana half, almond butter, cinnamon and hemp seeds !
