Fully embracing those Autumn flavors with these vegan oat waffles
These chai spice waffles are cozy and comforting in all the best ways. The flavors in here will warm you insides. I love these so much that i wanted to keep the toppings simple with a little maple syrup and plant based butter.
Chai spice waffles
Servings: 2 servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ¾ cup soy milk
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 1 ripe banana
- ¼ tsp ground cardamon
- ¼ tsp all spice
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ginger (i used fresh)
- 1 tbsp flax seeds (optional)
- vegan butter (for greasing the waffle maker)
Instructions
- Blend everything together until smooth (except the vegan butter).
- Butter your waffle maker and add 1/4-1/3 cup for each waffle. Mine took about 2 minutes each. Serve with some more vegan butter and maple syrup.
