Can’t think of anything more refreshing on a hot day
A thick acai berry smoothie bowl, which taste like ice cream – that’s got to be the best way to start a summer morning. This is a great smoothie base which you could have on it’s own or you can top it off with granola, more fruit, nuts and seeds, etc.
Thick Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 frozen acai packet
- 2 scoop vegan protein (optional)
- 1 cup plant based milk
- Blend everything until smooth. You may be tempted to add more liquid to make it easier, but using little liquid makes for a thick smoothie… It just takes longer! Top with granola and the cocoa nibs.
