Porridge warms my heart!
This bowl of Banana Chai Porridge was like a big warm hug this morning. Spices like cardamom, cinnamon & ginger make for a perfectly cozy fall bowl!
Banana Chai Porridge
Servings: 1 serving
Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup strong chai tea
- ¾ cup cashew milk
- ½ tbsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tbsp ginger
- pinch black pepper
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ banana - mashed
Toppings
- ½ banana
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp hulled hemp hearts
Instructions
- Add the rolled oats and tea to a pan. Let sit (not over heat) for 15-20 minutes
- Add the remaining ingredients and put over low heat. Cook slowly, stirring often. Remove from heat once thick.
- Top with the other banana half, almond butter, cinnamon and hemp seeds !
