Banana Chai Porridge

Porridge warms my heart!

This bowl of Banana Chai Porridge was like a big warm hug this morning. Spices like cardamom, cinnamon & ginger make for a perfectly cozy fall bowl!

Banana Chai Porridge

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup strong chai tea
  • ¾ cup cashew milk
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tbsp ginger
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ banana - mashed


  • ½ banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp hulled hemp hearts


  • Add the rolled oats and tea to a pan. Let sit (not over heat) for 15-20 minutes
  • Add the remaining ingredients and put over low heat. Cook slowly, stirring often. Remove from heat once thick.
  • Top with the other banana half, almond butter, cinnamon and hemp seeds !
