The creamiest breakfast bowl around
Peanut butter porridge – creamy, warm, and cozy. If this isn’t the perfect start to a day, then I don’t know what is. I love topping my oats with granola, it adds such a nice crunch once mixed in & also a bit of sweetness!
Peanut Butter Porridge
Servings: 1 serving
Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup water
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Toppings
- ¼ cup granola
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- ½ banana -sliced
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Soak rolled oats in water for 15 minutes.
- Transfer to a pot, add almond milk and cook over low heat.
- Add peanut butter, maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir everything together and cook until thick.
- Transfer to a bowl and top with granola, peanut butter, banana and cinnamon
