In the summer I really crave cold, hydrating foods.
A tall thick easy simple red berry smoothie is exactly what the doctor ordered! Sometimes adding too many fancy things into your smoothie can actually dilute the taste of the amazing fruit (and vegetable), and be too much for your stomach to digest at once!
Easy Simple Red Berry Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1 cup frozen strawberries/raspberries
- ½ cup cashew yogurt
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 1 fresh strawberry (for decoration)
- Blend the banana, cauliflower, raspberries, yogurt and almond milk until smooth.
- To make the strawberries stick to your glass, cut then reaaaaally thin (I used a mandoline) and then just press them against a DRY glass. Pour in your smoothie slowly into the center of the glass.
